Maggie Tapp, a Senior Vice President of Client Partnerships at Beacon, is responsible for client relationships across the mid-Atlantic region. Prior to joining Beacon Health Options in 2008, Ms. Tapp worked extensively in special education and community mental health, focusing primarily on children and adolescents and crisis response. She was also responsible for leading the national behavioral health response for the American Red Cross following the attacks of 9/11. She has a bachelor’s in Social work from James Madison university; a master’s in social work from Virginia Commonwealth University; and post-graduate training in child and adolescent psychotherapy from the Washington School of Psychiatry.
